In this lecture, I would like to discuss why unmanned fighters are expected to replace piloted fighters, such as those depicted in the movie "Top Gun," as the leading role in near-future warfare. We will examine this topic from scientific, academic, technical, and economic perspectives to understand the rationale behind this shift.



From a scientific standpoint, unmanned fighters offer significant advancements in technology. Scientific research has led to breakthroughs in robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems. These advancements have enabled the development of highly capable and sophisticated unmanned fighters with advanced sensor technologies, computer vision, and decision-making algorithms. The scientific community has contributed valuable insights into the technical capabilities and operational potential of these systems, supporting the transition towards unmanned aerial platforms.



Academically, extensive studies have been conducted to understand the benefits and potential applications of unmanned fighters.
